Intended Audience
FinePrint Shield is designed for adults who need to review contracts, leases, agreements, and similar legal or business documents. The app, website, and Web App are intended for users who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) and are not directed to children.
Age Restrictions
FinePrint Shield is not intended for children under the age of 13, and the service is not marketed to, or designed for, minors. Users under 18 should only use the app with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
No Intentional Collection of Children's Personal Information
We do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal information from children under 13. We do not target children with advertising, we do not create features intended to appeal specifically to children, and account creation is intended for adults.
If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information can contact support@merdorian.com to request deletion.
Parental Guidance
We encourage parents and guardians to supervise minors' online activity and to ensure that FinePrint Shield is only used with appropriate oversight.
Content & Conduct
FinePrint Shield is a document review and analysis tool. Users may not upload, store, share, or generate any content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors, or that otherwise violates child safety laws. Any such violation will result in immediate termination of access and, where required by law, reporting to the appropriate authorities.
Reporting Concerns
If you encounter content or behavior that raises child safety concerns related to FinePrint Shield, report it immediately to support@merdorian.com. We take these reports seriously and investigate promptly.
Compliance
We comply with applicable child privacy and online safety laws, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) where applicable, and equivalent protections such as the GDPR provisions for children in the EU/UK. We also follow Google Play's Families and child safety policies for apps distributed through the Play Store.
